Ukulele Concert ... May

Every year, the fifth graders give a ukulele concert. This year was Rhylah's turn! She did a magnificent job! It's really turned into something she loves! She even spends time "picking" at home, and finding the chords of some of her favorite songs, like Riptide, and singing along. She's growing up so fast!!

Outside ... May

The yard always looks so pretty this time of year ... the grass so green ... the kids have been enjoying swinging on the rope hanging from Jasper (the big old Oak tree in back) that used to hold my swing ... Rhylah and Asher flip and swing and get so high, it makes me nervous! But it's all good fun. One evening, Rhy and I sat reading on our new couch set, and decided to put flowers in each other's hair. Because ... why not?? :)

We have a bunch of scrap wood in the back that the kids can use to build forts or houses
