Tech Fest ... May

Asher took first place for his "Tale of the 3 Brothers" stop motion movie; Gabe and Rhy also had submissions. I'm super proud of them all!

Visit From Ree ... May

Ree came to visit us for a few days in May. It was SUPER fun! She and I went on a hike through Grand Mere. It was a challenge, but she did it like a champ! What fun!

Rhy's Field Day ... May

Rhy had a GREAT field day this year. She was chosen as second runner ... one of the fastest girls in ALL of 4th grade ... for the relay race. She also did the standing long jump and other fun events. Way to go, kiddo!

Mother's Day ... May

We had a picnic at Grand Mere, so I could hunt for sea glass. And my family got me a really cool bracelet with the coordinates of my "happy place" ... our camp site along the Manistee River. A lovely day!

Looking at the eggs while I'm cooking dinner, Asher announces: " I've always wanted to throw an egg at something, really hard!" "Go outside and throw one at the door then." "Seriously!!??" I shrugged. "Why not? Just get it out of your system and promise me you'll never egg another person's house." "Okay!!!"
