Asher's 14th Birthday

How is he already 14!!?? Asher had a GREAT day! He started the day with homemade scones with clotted cream ... and on to Middle Eastern Beef stew for dinner. His big gift was a smart watch that keeps track of his running and biking stats ... he loves it! Then it was lemon bars for dessert!

First Snow ... Novebmer 12

The kids got their first snow day on Tuesday, Nov. 12. It wasn't a LOT of snow (we joked that the only reason they got it, was that their new superintendent is from California...) but it was still very pretty and fun to play in. Shortly after this, our boiler died on our furnace! So we were without heat for a few days. Luckily, we were blessed with a fireplace in our house! It was pretty cozy, actually!

First Communion ... November

Asher celebrated his First Communion in November! We are inbetween pastors right now, but our vacancy pastor, Pastor Moritz, is super! We're so proud of Asher as he walks in faith and begins to make adult decisions about following Christ!

Decorating at Grandma's ... November

Our kids always enjoy setting up Christmas early at Grandma and Papa's house! They are gone from St. Joe for most of November, so they like Xmas decorations to be up and ready for their winter visit. Fun!
