The Great Xmas Tree Hunt

We made our trek out to Bredeweg acres to cut down a Christmas tree. It was a beautiful day, with great puffy flakes of snow ... not as much as I would have liked, but I'll take what I can get!

Our family at the tree farm.

The kids stand by the barn.

Rhy tromps through the trees. The reason her little noggin looks misshapen under her super cool hat (that grandma made!) is because she has two side ponytails stuck up inside of it.

Me and my baby girl!

Looking for the perfect tree ...

Daddy asks Asher, "Is this the one?"

Dad cuts down the tree!

Me and my honey!

The boys in front of the tree.

Asher puts some decorations on the tree.

Gabe does too!

I help Rhylah with an ornament. (This is my favorite photo!)

Your family is so beautiful! You can just tell by the way you all hold on to each other that there is a very special and strong bond with each and every one of you.
I love all your "tree" blogs! The snow was beautiful! Yay!

Must be fun to go out and cut down your own tree. I've never done it, either in my childhood family or current family. We like going to Roy's, because they have a chain saw to make a fresh cut on the bottom, so you don't have to do it at home.
