The Local Swimmin' Hole
Nate and I always say to each other that when you live in paradise for three months of the year, it's so easy to take it for granted. So true.
We spend two to three nights a week down at Silver Beach, or Tiscornia Beach. These endless summer days of sunshine and water are so relaxing, the kids play and I get to read a book or two, it's amazing.
So I decided to take some photos the other day as we were frolicking in the waves. The water was PERFECT ... only about 1-2 feet deep, with endless medium sized waves and no rip current ... it was like one of those wave pools at a water park!
Gabe and Asher are planning their attack on the Lake Michigan waves ... a large inflatable lizard may be involved ...
Rhy poses for me on the beach. This is her new "go-to" pose, with one shoulder lifted ... not sure where she picked that up!
Pretty girl in the sparkly water!
Gabe takes a wave.
Silly boys! Asher is certainly the king of goofy faces.
I love this shot! Check out our lighthouse in the background!
Check out the muscles on that boy!
Rhy stays mostly in the shallows, which I like. In the background you can see the awesome new blue beach tent grandma and papa Staude got for us! We LOVE it!
Rhy takes a ride on the floaty lizard!
