National Night Out

In August, we went to "National Night Out" at a local park. It is basically a free picnic with all-you-can-eat hotdogs, candy and popcorn, and gives the kids a chance to climb all over the fire trucks and police vehicles, go through the "smoke house," ask questions and get freebies. We had a blast, even though I was suffering from my one and only bad sunburn of the summer!
