One of our favorite things to do as a family is hike and camp. For the second year in a row, we've gone backpacking up in the Manistee Backwaters and hiked the trail up around the Manistee River and back south again. We spend three nights this year, and spend an entire day at our favorite little camping spot, RIGHT on the water ... it was Father's Day actually, and we spend the day swimming, fishing (I caught a Brown trout!), drinking coffee and reading books. It was WONDERFUL!!! What a fantastic trip!
