In late August, we drove over to Janesville, WI, to visit Keith and Katie and their kiddos. They recently moved to a farmhouse out in the country, and WOW was it ever fun to see them! The big excitement happened when one of the little ones accidentally left the chicken coop open. We were all sitting outside, when Roubi trotted proudly into the yard with a big fluffy (and DEAD) chicken in her mouth. No blood. She had shaken it to death. There were feathers everywhere. She was so proud of herself. We were NOT. Hahaha! Yikes!! Poor Gurty the chicken!!
