Skunky Dogs ... September

Well.... the dogs got into some mischief on a Sunday morning recently. Nate let them out to do their "business" in the wee dark hours of the morning. He then heard a "yip!" from Roubi and the dogs came pelting into the house stinking like DEATH! Turns out, they surprised a skunk in the yard. OH MAN, they STANK! I stayed home from church and washed them repeatedly with baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and vinegar. I also washed anything they had touched ... floors, carpets, blankets ... What a mess!
