A Slow Week -- but 1 new addiction
Rhylah was just too pooped out to play with me yesterday. I got so bored I just sat there watching my beautiful girl.
Poor Rhylah has been soooo tired for the past two days. She had her 4-month checkup yesterday and got three shots, plus an oral dosage. Now my kids have always responded to the "shock" of shots by completely shutting down, and Rhy is no exception. By the time we got home from the doctor's office, she was out. And she continued to sleep for almost 5 hours, until I finally woke her up to eat. Yesterday was much the same story. She slept and slept! Poor little thing! I HATE holding them still while they get their shots -- they just look at you with their little faces all confused as to why they are getting hurt and why mom seems like an accomplice to the pain. Oh, how I hate it! But it's done! For those of you who are curious, little Rhy is almost off the charts. She weighs 16 lbs 11.2 oz (95th percentile) and is 26.5 inches tall (off the charts ... so 100th percentile apparently) and her head is 41.5 cm (60th percentile.)
In other news, I have a new addiction in my spare time.... which really amounts to about 10 minutes per day. :) I've discovered piratesonline.com. It was created by Disney and is a SUPER fun game! Now I'm not a "gamer." I don't usually "do" games, beyond the occasional foray into Oregon Trail or Myst, when it first came out. But this game is just good fun! You get to design and name a pirate, name your ship, and sail the seas attacking british ships and visiting all the islands from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Too much fun! Check it out!

Awww, she's so cute! I miss the days when Elle would just pass out in the middle of the floor or on the bed. Now, she pretty much has to be in her bed to sleep, so I don't get to see the completely passed out stage. (Though I know that she still sleeps with her arms up like that ... too funny!)
Awww, she's getting so big already! My arms would be so cold, if I had them up like that and not covered up! I just wrap up like I'm in a cocoon at night!
