Little Sluggers

This summer, Gabe moved up from Minor League to Little League, where the "big" boys play. I remember looking at those boys at the field behind us, back when Gabe was 7, and thinking how OLD they all looked! Practically teenagers! Now my boys was one of them! He played for the White Sox this year, and played mostly third base, and a bit of pitching. Here are some shots of him pitching. Asher was a Cub (ouch! Hard for this Cardinal's fan to root for the Cubbies!). He played mostly pitcher and first base in the Rookie Leage. He'll move up to the Minors next summer.
