Playin' Ball

We signed Rhylah up for softball this summer. She did really great, and I think she enjoyed herself. At that age, the ball really doesn't come to you much, so she also spent a lot of time twirling around her father in the outfield or doing pirouettes thru the dust and dirt to pass the time. Her favorite part, other than batting and running the bases, was the "treat ticket" at the end, which enabled each kid to get a snack at the concession stand. She says she doesn't want to do it again next year, but would rather do dance. Sigh! I may have to reconcile myself to tutus instead of ball gloves for her. :)
