Family Vacation: Day #7

On our last day in Mackinaw City, we completely relaxed at our campsite and did just about...NOTHING. The weather for this trip has been perfect....in the 70s during the days and 50s at night....which is chilly, but also GOOOOOD sleeping weather. Today, we sat around drinking coffee, catching frogs, reading books and flying kites. The kids found these tiny TINY frogs right on the lake. And Rhylah and I had fun wading out into the water. That evening, we went to an amazing Polish restaurant called LEGS INN, in Cross Village, and drove home up M119, through the "Tunnel of Trees." A perfect day!
Asher and dad fly a kite.

Tiny frogs!

An INTENSE kite flyer!!

The "mad sandpiper" of Mill Creek. This thing would make whooping noises every night from 10-12 and again at 4 a.m. Crazy!!!

My girl.

Our amazing, 5-berry cobbler at Legs Inn. Soooooo goooooood!!

A beautiful drive back to the campsite.
