Getting Artsy: May

I bought one of those fat quarter fabric bundles (at Meijer, of all places) hoping I could patch them together to make a new little centerpiece for our coffee table. Then I got experimenting with applique, for the first time, and decided to try making the St. Joseph lighthouse out of the 5 fabrics that came in the pack. This was how I beat the winter doldrums yesterday .... and it was SUPER fun!
