Asher's 8th Birthday

Asher turned 8 on Nov. 21. The big things he wanted for his birthday were a civil war union officer costume (we got it for him, including a cap, which he was NOT expecting), legos (check), and the new Superman movie (which he also got). We also surprised him with some Rock'em Sock'em Robots and a HUGE new nerf gun. Oh, and a new Walter the Farting Dog book (he LOVES that series) and Animaniacs, Season 2. He requested shrimp pasta for dinner and peanut butter pie for dessert. It was a fantastic day and I can't believe he's getting so old!!

Time with Cousins

Gret and Leon visited Wisconsin recently, and my mom and dad "kidnapped" their kiddos and brought them up to hang out with the cousins! We had a great weekend just chillin' out and being together.

FIrst Snow Day!

On Nov. 12, we got 12 inches of snow (on 11-12-13!!) and the kiddos got their first snow day! It was wild! None of us even really knew we were expecting so much snow! It took three hours to shovel out the driveway!

Rhylah was determined to make a snowman.

Walk in the Woods

We like to hike at Love Creek every year in the fall. From the photos, you can see why! The color was incredible. I imagine heaven would look something like this woods.
