Gabriel's 19th Birthday ... January

 Gabe turned 19! Whaaaaaat?? We're so glad we could share his day with him ... normally, he would have been gone to college ... each "extra" moment we get with him is a blessing. Next year, he'll be off to Michigan Tech up in the upper Penninsula!

Volleyball ... January

 This year, Nathan coached a travel volleyball for Southwest VB, and Rhylah was on his team. They played two full seasons ... from December though May ... and did an amazing job practicing and playing in tournaments and just have a blast together. It got a little crazy when Rhy was required to take a weekly COVID test, but she stuck with it, and we're so glad she did!

New Braces! ... January

 Rhy got braces today! Her teeth aren't terribly crooked, so the doc thinks she might be done in under a year ... that would be nice! I'm so proud of her ... she was really nervous to get them on, but she did great! The worst part was making the "mold" of her teeth. And she was really sore for the first few days. But after that, she was great!

Winter Fun ... January

 I couldn't wait for the snow to fall this year, because I was excited to see what our new house (color) would look like! I had the feeling it would be gorgeous, surrounded by fluffy white flakes ... I was right! We spent a lot of time outside this winter. I got to go snowshoeing out at Grand Mere ... and we went skiing four or five times .... it was terrific! While the MOST snow fell in February this winter ... January wasn't half bad either!
