Gabe's 18th birthday

My baby is 18!! We raised an adult!! How is that possible!?
He was just happy because this year, FINALLY, he didn't have finals on his birthday. It was on a Friday ... and we got to go out to La Perla for steak burritos. YUM!!
His big gift this year was a MIDI keyboard for his computer ... because he's been recording a lot of songs on his computer. He also got some clothes and this really funny Chinese musical instrument that sounds so goofy, we all had a good laugh when he played it.

Into the Woods ... January

Went on a fox “hunt” with my girl at Grand Mere today. We found squirrel and raccoon tracks, and something that looked like a den...which got us very excited....we tried yipping like foxes....then we stood silent, side by side, in the quiet woods for long minutes....but mostly we just enjoyed the day and each other.
