I went out into the back yard the other day, right by the garage, and found this possum mama, carrying her TEN babies on her back. She didn't seem that upset by my presence ... she just waddled along to the back and up the woodpile into the neighbors yard. WOW!!
I found the cutest little potting bench online, built out of pallet wood. I found some local pallets for free and Nathan, being the amazing hubby that he is ... built me a bench in like 2 hours .... which was WAY CUTER than the one I saw online. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!
On April 22, I planted my root veggies ... turnips, raddish, beets, potatoes, carrots, parsnips ... as well as some spinach. I've never done ANY of these things before, so I'm excited to see how it turns out!
We had some cool temps, so we had to wrap the cherry trees in burlap and cover up the peas. Brrrrrr!
