Brown Thrasher ... April

“Mom! We saw a beautiful new brown bird at your feeder! Dad got a photo!” I hustled downstairs, after which followed a delightful 15 minutes of me and my girl flipping through Sibley and Audubon as she detailed the bird to me. She was the one who ID’d it, by its yellow eye. A Brown Thrasher! Wish I could have heard it sing....it’s supposedly lovely and has over 1,000 songs!My dad says they used to see them all the time when he was a kid.
